  • Near Galilee, this beach is for families with small kids. It sits inside the protective waters of the Point Judith Harbor of Refuge. The waves are small. Once this was the playground for the rich (bef...  more »
  • Have gone to this beach for centuries. Had a summer home here when we were kids. So my memories by my connections to this beach. It has to be the safest beach on the east coast for kids. Long jetties ...  more »
  • My first time here was in August of 2016 and I would totally return. There was plenty of parking and plenty of places to park yourself in the sun and sand for the day.  more »

  • Nice spot for families, especially with young kids. Break wall about a mile out that keeps waves small. Concessions and amenities are pretty good as well. This is where we take our kids and they enjoy it.
  • Very quiet and low key. That have a playground with infant swings. Waves aren't very strong. Perfect for my 13 month old son's first beach day!
  • My wife went to you use the ladies room at 5:30 she said one whole side was already closed with all the bathrooms the only side open had only three stalls and the line was humongous if it's open till 6 the bathrooms should be open till 6. The other complaint I have is the food at the concession stand the line was ridiculously long the people that run it we're not managing it properly I had to wait forever once I ordered my French fries and they will inedible when I received them. They were cold overcooked just terrible I threw them out. It used to be a great Beach with great food not anymore. Terrible food and closing the bathrooms when you had literally hundreds of women still at the beach at 5:30 when they're supposed to close at 6 is not my idea of a good day at the beach.
  • Clear water, sparkling smooth sand, and picnic tables at your disposal. Facilities were clean and convenient as well. Reduced parking prices this year ($6/day!). Great family beach.
  • Smaller waves so its great for younger children. Warm showers (for a small fee) and clean bathrooms. A great food court. This is a must for young families.
