  • What a great p,ace to step back into time to cherish and understand the history of automobiles and racing cars.  more »
  • Revs has hundreds of antique cars, all in working condition. Do plan to take one of the docent led tours - they know a lot about cars in general and these cars in particular.  more »
  • We really enjoyed our day here. My kids loved it but my father in law (retired mechanical engineer) left for lunch but went back because he enjoyed it so much. The cars were in pristine condition and ...  more »

  • Truly one of the great auto museums in the country- classic or otherwise! The number and variety of cars, from the oldest classics to Formular 1 racing cars is amazing. The tours are very informative and will adapt to the audience (you don't have to feel awkward asking a question if you're not a car expert). The REVS relationship with Stamford University provides a dimension that is not found in other car museums. Plus, the fact that most of the cars still operate and are taken out regularly for driving by professional drivers and engineers on the test track is also unique and impressive. If you have any interest in cars or would like to learn more, this is the place for you!
  • Bestowing less than five stars on this collection would only reveal the reviewer's ignorance of the automobiles themselves - and by "themselves" I do mean THESE particular models and not the models at-large. I had last visited this address some 15 years ago or so. At the time, it was the Collier Automotive Museum (I believe) and it appears the entirety of that collection is still here today. I've learned that a member of the Collier family bought Briggs Cunningham's sizable collection and so today we are presented with this two-story collection of historically significant autos. Cary Cooper's own Duesenberg. Enzo Ferrari's own Ferrari. Hitler's own commissioned racer. The oldest Ferrari in the U.S. The last production car to win a 24 hours of Le Mans. A beautiful Sahara-modified Citroën 2CV (my personal favorite). And so many more (such as an 1896 Benz) Every one of these are fully functional, licensed and road legal. In Tallahassee, we have an automobile museum (DeVoe Moore's "Tallahassee Automobile Museum" and it's nice and all, but...) Bottom line: if you're remotely enthusiastic about mechanized sports and automobiles themselves, you'll treat yourself well by coming here. Buy tickets online. Apparently, there are no tickets sold on location.
  • I attended a private party at Revs Institute and was knocked off my feet. The facility is loaded with meaningful automobiles, some with racing histories and others with great stories behind them. I also met Mr. Collier who is justifiably proud of his incredible collection
  • Wow... great find and a very good knowledgeable, friendly staff. Do you like cars? Do you like racing? Than you'll love Race Cars. Purchase tickets before you go!
  • Amazing collection of Cars and lot of history 👍
