  • I was in Naples for a week and wanted to play a round of golf. The green fee prices around Naples is usually very high (150-200$) so we looked for a more reasonable option. Eagle Lake Golf Club gave u...  more »

  • Golfed with another couple on a beautiful afternoon. Course has 5 tee boxes, so it is challenging for most golfers. We are seniors, so we played more forward than back. Plenty of water to make your sh...  more »

  • Course is OK, no real issues. But the starter is a terrible guy. Before I even teed off, the starter for some reason questioned my skill level because I chose to play the second to back tees (I'm a 9 handicap). He literally said "do you even golf?". Also played with a couple women, he was downright disrespectful and unreasonable. This guy ruined the experience of 7 golfers on vacation. But the course was OK.
  • Friendly staff I was a single they took good care me I'll be back for sure
  • One of the best public course values in the Naples, Marco Island area. Very easy to get to from Marco Island, not a whole lot of public options in the area. Look out for gators, several out in February this year when I was there.
  • Exactly what I expected. Got a great deal since I am Naples resident but overall having played many local courses seems like a pretty good deal regardless. Got a lot of rain for several days prior so there were a couple of soft spots. Vegetation and trees seem young but course is beautiful. The layout and length of play is right on. Lost a club on the course but the guys playing behind us brought it into the bar where we were watching the race and cooling down. Had a good time for my money.
  • Played a couple rounds down here again on 10/24/13 and 10/25/13 and have noticed much improvement than the past year. I was told there is a new sup. and they are putting a lot more time, money, and effort into the course and it has already started to show. The fairways and tees were in great shape, but the biggest difference was in the greens and rough. They re-sodded a couple of greens and verticut and overall were rolling much much better than in the past. It looks like they have also replaced and worked on the patchy uneven lies and weeds in the rough. You can already tell the course is back on the right track. I played a couple of rounds from different tees and enjoyed each one. From the back, I tee, it is a real challenge and brings a lot of danger into play, especially on the back 9. The course plays completely different from the II tees, transforming into a shot-making course with distance control a priority. Apart from the golf it is also a great wildlife course, seeing a variety of birds, fish and turtles, as well as at least a half dozen gators and bald eagles! I'm now more excited to come back instead of it simply being convenient.
