  • This is the real nature experience, with all types of birds, turtles and alligators on the trail. Saw a lot more wildlife than at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary! Walked the 12 miles in 5 hours with my wife...  more »

  • This place is amazing! I walked the entire trail and lost count of the number of alligators I saw. tons of birds to see too. Walked much of the trail alone which is a little worrisome due to the many gators all around you. A mountain bike would have been a great way to see this area. I hope to get back there soon.
  • A great trail that had quite a bit of wildlife on my hike through, beware of the gator that guards the trail. Walked by him about 5 feet away, he laid there like he was used to it, but terrifying regardless.
  • Plenty of Florida wildlife, nice biking and hiking trail
  • One of the best places in the area to See Gators
  • One of the best places in Collier to take pictures. Fantastic and beautiful place. If you haven't been you need to go. Also check out CREW's volunteer hiking guides, they are some of the best out there. They know many things about the area. Get out there and take some pictures and enjoy the beauty that you can't get anywhere else.
