  • The walk began well, beginning of the path was a sparrowhawk to delicious feast on his prey! Had grind to us! Waited till he was finished eating and further hiked! A little further on a small crocodile in the grass seen! On the Boardwalk we came back against a gator that really don't of the trail! Exciting walk all in all! Unfortunately it was after the Boardwalk closed due to high water

  • This place is amazing! I walked the entire trail and lost count of the number of alligators I saw. tons of birds to see too. Walked much of the trail alone which is a little worrisome due to the many gators all around you. A mountain bike would have been a great way to see this area. I hope to get back there soon.
  • A great trail that had quite a bit of wildlife on my hike through, beware of the gator that guards the trail. Walked by him about 5 feet away, he laid there like he was used to it, but terrifying regardless.
  • Amazing experience. Recommend done by bike but well worth it
  • This park is a hidden gem and is an awesome place to see a lot of alligators and wildlife. Also, there is a nice elevated boardwalk at the beginning of the trail, which is a nice bonus.
  • One of the best places in Collier to take pictures. Fantastic and beautiful place. If you haven't been you need to go. Also check out CREW's volunteer hiking guides, they are some of the best out there. They know many things about the area. Get out there and take some pictures and enjoy the beauty that you can't get anywhere else.
