  • An opportunity to learn about parrots and visit with them. It's a not for profit sanctuary, so keep that in mind. Schedule your tour on their website.
  • Had an amazing day meeting all of the birds and learning about their particular breed and story. The owner also knows every type of seed, grass, and herb on the property. The pre-teen/teen kids also h...  read more »
  • My now-husband and I visited this sanctuary, last year. I love all animals, but birds hold a special place in my heart. The facility has many birds in the parrot family and most have very sad stories,...  read more »
  • Truly something to see! Knowledgeable staff and volunteers and taken gray care to provide for and show off tons of beautiful birds. The free flight area is incredible, feeding gorgeous tropical birds out of your hand is fun! The nose level can get crazy if the birds get to talking. Great place for kids to see and learn. Wear bug spray and bring unsalted whole almonds. Plus your camera. Tours by donation, which is a great act of kindness.
  • I love this place. Such a perfect environment for birds that need to be adopted or just a place to live the rest of their lives. You can see they are well taken care of and happy. So glad I got the chance to go and experience it. I even adopted a Galah cockatoo who is now my everything. If I didn't live so far away I would definitely dedicate my time to volunteer.
  • This is a fantastic place to go to. Beautiful gardens and amazing parrots. They do a wonderful job as a rescue/sanctuary for parrots. I love to just sit and listen to the parrots talking to each other.
  • Fabulous. Thank you for nurturing these amazing birds.
  • The Bird Gardens of Naples is a great place to visit. It is a non-profit parrot sanctuary located just outside of Naples, and though it may not seem like much when you first see it, there are many hidden treasures there! There are over 200 birds on the property in various breeds, sizes and colors. During the summer months, the gardens is in bloom and is just as vivid as the birds themselves. The owner of the Gardens will happily take you on a tour that will include the names and histories of all of the birds that you see. I don't think I have ever met someone who is as knowledgeable about birds as she is, or that cares so much about our feathered friends. You can tell that some of the birds were very neglected in their previous homes, but they seem to be completely happy and enjoying themselves in their new homes. This would be a great place to bring kids to see something that they probably have never seen before, and it will be just as much fun for the grownups. There is no charge for the tours, but they do take donations to help them keep the place going.
