  • Born and raised in Naperville - Back in the 60's and 70's this river was a dumping ground. The city has always been forward thinking and created this beautiful park. The downtown portion is heavily tr...  more »
  • We go to the Riverwalk in nice weather, but it would be nice anyway if you dressed properly. We like to go there and it has a lot to see, there are restaurants in the area. Just a nice place to visit....  more »

  • I really enjoy Riverwalk Park. There's always something neat to explore at or nearby the park. From the fountains, art, old covered bridges, memorials, carillon bell tower, and primary and also some secluded pathways, there's something for everyone at the Riverwalk. Combine sprawling downtown Naperville and you've got everything needed for a perfect afternoon or evening whether you're on a date, seeing friends, or with the family. My daughter loved the bell tower chimes and songs that played, while we were there. I also am interested in trying Centennial beach, a quarry converted to a huge beach/pool which is adjacent to the riverwalk.
  • This is an excellent place for spending the day with family. The river path is flat and accessible and runs along the river bank. You can reach most of downtown Naperville from here as well. There are will marked signs that direct you to the carillon, centennial beach, etc. The beach is also a must! It's the midday amazing public pool I've ever seen.
  • Lots of really nice areas to take pictures. Covered bridge, rock and plant landscaping. Events often occurring. Its just a few steps from downtown Naperville. Only complaint is that its crowded sometimes.
  • Absolutely amazing. Brilliantly designed along the river bed. Has nooks and crannies for you to actually access the river shore. Plenty of amenities and bathrooms along the paths. Filled with families spending time together.
  • Love coming here! So many cute shops and restaurants to explore and the Riverwalk is the perfect way to walk off the food. Plus, tons of Pokestops!
