  • The kind folks that work and volunteer here are passionate about children and education! I was fortunate to have been able to volunteer here and as part of my duties, I was given a very detailed, behi...  more »
  • It was a nice place to take the kids. The kids get to interact with displays. The older kids were sort of board and got in the way of the younger ones the displays were geared for.  more »
  • My wife and I take our grandkids, ages 2-1/2 and 4-1/2 to the museum whenever they visit. They clamor for us to go there! All of the activities are interactive and involve manipulating, objects, color...  more »

  • This place is great if you have small children maybe under 10. For the older kids between 10-12 it didn't really hold the interest. But it is fabulous, clean and fun for the little ones. They have a great little cafe with yummy and healthy treats. I would definitely recommend the trip, even if your kids are a bit older. You never know what holds their attention or what new attractions they have that month.
  • My 7th month old had a blast today! There are three areas especially for children 2 and under that include activities on the floor and busy boards on the wall. My son also enjoyed the water and music areas. There was so much to see we'll definitely be back again soon.
  • Pretty good place. The kids can run around a bit and learn something new. Lots to see and do. Good for all ages.
  • Came here because of an admission discount I read in one of those parent magazines. 3 floors of interactive exhibits are a cross between STEM and art which encourages critical thinking and motor development. Pretend play introduces sensory input through cause & effect along with trial & error. A win for me when my daughter has fun learning with these kinds of activities in a safe environment. She especially loves the exhibit where she pretends to be hammering away in woodshop class; She's able to play with push/pull/stack/build objects here! Toying with lights and shadows is another exhibit my daughter enjoys: visual sensory at play to distinguish colors, shapes, and sizes. This place is large and noisy, as it should be! This children's museum also has a cafe downstairs which won the 2017 best food allwrgy innovation award by AllerTrain. Good to know that the staff takes care of patrons with food allergies!
  • My son got a pass for his birthday and he loves it! We go for a couple hours in the mornings to tire him out for nap time. He could live there!
