  • What a beautiful winery! It is situated on a hill with a spectacular view of the valley! The staff is top notch! They did everything possible to make our visit memorable! Patricia was our guide and he...  more »
  • Only had a few hours to show off beauty of Napa Valley to visiting friends so we went up on the hill that Silverado provides. Their view is top shelf and the customer service was beyond great. The win...  more »
  • Our visit to the Silverado Vineyards was our first stop in a week of wine tastings planned. We were a group of 6, and Balkus took great care of us. It seemed initially that Patricia (?) was to handle ...  more »

  • Lovely view, cute little yard to hang out and taste the wines. The cheaper tasting menu has pretty good wines on it. The hosts are friendly and explain about each wine, the winery and the area. Very calm atmosphere and pretty - recommended!
  • Super friendly and great tasting wines. Had a wonderful chat with the ladies behind the counter. They let us try an extra variety and helped us figure out how to bring all our different bottles home to Colorado. They even let us still do a tasting even though we were a little after 4:30 (the cutoff time). If you want a friendly and beautiful winery to experience this should be at the top of your list!
  • A. Over priced. B. The guy behind the counter came across as being snobby. C. No glasses, no bottles just tasting which he repeated with a somewhat rude manner. Cakebread had better wine AND were more friendly.
  • It is a nice property. Good place to visit.
  • My husband and I had always wanted to do the wine tasting thing but just never got around to it until now....yes! virgin sippers but we do enjoy wines and wanted to develop our palate. We arrived in early afternoon on a Sunday. There was only one other couple present when we approached the wine bar. Not being familiar with the wines or the manner with which to proceed we mentioned that we had been suggested this vineyard and winery because of our preferences....Sangrias and sweet finished wines. Without any unnecessary judgment we selected our flight and shared conversation with our friend behind the bar, Nicholas. He was young, bright and patient with his newbies, describing many aspects of the winery, and its history. The views from their patios were incredible... Encouraging us to linger, longer and continuing to share conversations with ,first, Katie and , again Nicholas. While our palates may remain uneducated, our experiences with friendly, open and exciting individuals has become enriched....and, after all, wines may come and go, but warm and friendly companions on this journey of ours truly offers us so much, much more to savor! Happy wine travels!
