Where to stay in Napa

To explore North America's largest wine-growing region and remain close to fine dining and shopping, consider staying at a bed and breakfast located in downtown Napa. Many centrally located inns offer spacious rooms with fireplaces, free Wi-Fi, and on-site swimming pools. If you don't mind splurging, consider staying at one of the wine valley's lavishly furnished villas, many of which feature private lakes and access to a network of scenic hiking trails. You can also go all out at a luxury resort located in a picturesque vineyard setting.

  • Visited here the day after Mother's Day we were the first ones at the winery it opens at 10:30 am. Got a great tour through the wine selection and the aging caves with the dining area in the back. Coo...  more »
  • This was a dinner as part of a corporate group and for US$300+ph I'd have expected more. Dinner in cave was a unique experience, but the food and wine for the price was not particularly memorable.  more »
  • This winery is very pricey when it comes to wine tasting. The cost was $45 and too much for our liking! Not to mention they were serving red wines and we are more of white wine drinkers with an occasi...  more »

  • Great experience at our first visit here. Excellent wine and a well versed staff. Will definitely be back.
  • Good wines and located near downtown so it's easy to get to. Recommend bringing a few snacks to eat on one of the tables while you enjoy the tastings.
  • One of the more worthwhile pricey tastings. The wines were excellent. We stopped in on a busy weekend without an appointment and the friendly staff squeezed us in and answered all our questions.
  • The wine is great but the Wine Club is a rip off. Tried to cancel my wine shipment in advance as I was traveling in Europe and they charged and shipped my order regardless charging me shipping and return fees.
  • The fact that it's located in Napa Valley's premier wine-growing appellation of Stag's Leap speaks for itself - but Pine Ridge keeps the area's reputation high with its well thought out tours, great tour guides (we had Jon) and super wine to taste. They actually start outside and do a pretty good job of discussing the vines and the grapes; then into the wine making areas and finally into the storage areas. They have caves! Man-made caves, but still real. The tasting room was dug into the mountain and the presentation was just awesome with both wine and small bites to taste with the wine. We were so impressed we joined the wine club, but that's besides the point. Go just for the tour - it's worth it
