We had a tour of the grounds and the cabernet cave followed by a dinner in the latter. The food and wine pairings were to die for. The wine itself was a little pricey but the experience was outstandin...  more »

Very cab specific winery with several appellation labels that are highly rated. These wines are around $100 per bottle, which is above my price point. It was a nice chance to taste these for free. The...  more »

We won a gift certificate for a VIP wine tasting worth $80 in a raffle. We live in Sonoma County and wine taste quite often but thought, since we have the certificate, why not try Napa. Well, $80 wort...  more »

Great experience at our first visit here. Excellent wine and a well versed staff. Will definitely be back.

Good wines and located near downtown so it's easy to get to. Recommend bringing a few snacks to eat on one of the tables while you enjoy the tastings.

One of the more worthwhile pricey tastings. The wines were excellent. We stopped in on a busy weekend without an appointment and the friendly staff squeezed us in and answered all our questions.

The wine is great but the Wine Club is a rip off. Tried to cancel my wine shipment in advance as I was traveling in Europe and they charged and shipped my order regardless charging me shipping and return fees.

The fact that it's located in Napa Valley's premier wine-growing appellation of Stag's Leap speaks for itself - but Pine Ridge keeps the area's reputation high with its well thought out tours, great tour guides (we had Jon) and super wine to taste. They actually start outside and do a pretty good job of discussing the vines and the grapes; then into the wine making areas and finally into the storage areas. They have caves! Man-made caves, but still real. The tasting room was dug into the mountain and the presentation was just awesome with both wine and small bites to taste with the wine. We were so impressed we joined the wine club, but that's besides the point. Go just for the tour - it's worth it

Where to stay in Napa

To explore North America's largest wine-growing region and remain close to fine dining and shopping, consider staying at a bed and breakfast located in downtown Napa. Many centrally located inns offer spacious rooms with fireplaces, free Wi-Fi, and on-site swimming pools. If you don't mind splurging, consider staying at one of the wine valley's lavishly furnished villas, many of which feature private lakes and access to a network of scenic hiking trails. You can also go all out at a luxury resort located in a picturesque vineyard setting.
