Napa Valley Wine Country Tours, Napa

Our travel agent booked this for us and it was spectacular. We had Abe as a driver and guide. He was truly fantastic. He was funny, caring, and kind. We had a jacket go missing after the last stop and he made it his personal mission to recover it. He seemed to really enjoy his job. The wineries were excellent and quite tasty. We had a wonderful time and cannot recommend this enough.

We booked a limo bus for 10 of us and gave them our itinerary. Our driver Mimi showed up right on time and took us to each winery we had booked right on time, took our photos and I was able to text her when we were wrapping up so she could pick us up right at the entrance. The limo bus was beautiful and very clean. We went 1/2 hour over our time but it was just easily and accurately reflected in our charge. Thank you for a great experience!

We had a wonderful time on our tour, though the best feature was our driver Abe who was very pleasant and witty. Abe assured us all on the bus would be friends by the end of the tour and it was true! Abe went above and beyond by taking us past the Napa sign for pictures, and furthermore when we spilled a bottle of wine getting off the bus, he went back the next day to get another one for us. Terrific service!

We were unimpressed with this tour from the start. The tour guide, Abe, thought he was funny and witty, but unfortunately it really ruined our experience. For starters, the photo on the website shows a cool trolly style bus, but we were picked up in a large greyhound limo bus, which did not provide a great vantage point while traveling through beautiful wine country. We were stuck in the back row of the bus, which has very narrow, upright seating, and got super hot from the engine bay underneath. Additionally, there was no water or hand sanitizer in the bathroom, so you could not wash your hands or flush. As you can imagine, this made the bathroom smell awfully like stale urine. To top it off, the entire time, Abe talked about our “chef cooked lunch” which ended up being very average turkey sandwiches, that were packed on the bus the entire time. Needless to say, it was quite the disappointment when were led to believe that we were getting a chef cooked meal. Some other things that made the experience less than amazing, were no napkins during lunch, not having air conditioning for the first 20 minutes of the trip, and Abe spending 5 minutes bs’ing at each winery, which cut into the already short amount of time we got to spend tasting. Which brings me to our last gripe... we only got anywhere from 40-60 minutes at each winery for tastings, which made us feel rushed for tasting, and not able to enjoy the grounds at most places. Unless you can’t find a sober driver, I’d steer clear of this company.

We booked the hot air balloon ride/6 hr. wine tour with this company. We sat in our hotel lobby for 1 hr waiting on the balloon people to arrive. Just to be told they probably cancelled due to weather when we called in to the tour company. No communication from them of course, so we would have sat here for hours. She was as helpful as she could be, but the mailbox for the balloon people was full and she was really just “assuming they cancelled due to weather”. They flaked on us, don’t get your hopes up on this service. We wasted 2 days of our trip to California to do this package. 2 days and $500 in hotel down the drain at a minimum.
