Where to stay in Napa

To explore North America's largest wine-growing region and remain close to fine dining and shopping, consider staying at a bed and breakfast located in downtown Napa. Many centrally located inns offer spacious rooms with fireplaces, free Wi-Fi, and on-site swimming pools. If you don't mind splurging, consider staying at one of the wine valley's lavishly furnished villas, many of which feature private lakes and access to a network of scenic hiking trails. You can also go all out at a luxury resort located in a picturesque vineyard setting.

  • The Napa Valley Distillery is a nice change from wine. Paul was informative and entertaining. The spirits were excellent. We used Groupon which helped. It's a little pricey but worth it for a change o...  more »

  • The tastings are very informative and tasty. They have a huge selection of bitters and syrups as well as their own spirits. My favorite is the Ancho chili brandy.
  • Awesome place with an endless selection of bitters of almost any flavor you can imagine. The staff is also very helpful in picking out bitters, offering samples, etc. Great people that work here
  • Visited with a friend while touring the area - we both joined the club! Tasting was fun and their products are really good. The selection of bitters is amazing!
  • Great place to try new stuff.
  • I happened upon this gem while looking for a bite in the Oxbow Market. Some buddies and I tried the full flight (six tastings) which was wonderful. I ultimately left with a bottle of the Brandy Cordial, loving the aroma and notes of butter and brown sugar. I'm sure however that I will be back for their Hollywood Ginn, another favorite from the tasting. The best part of the visit was the introduction to tasting that Paul gave us. I won't steal his thunder on proper tasting technique, so definitely be sure to speak with him while you're there. If you find yourself in downtown Napa, do be sure to swing by and give the Napa Valley Distillery a try. Dee-lish!
