Taste the sparkling Pinot Noir at Domaine Carneros, or enjoy a cheese plate and a tour around the château. Both the château and the production area are constructed in the French style, making this a more Old World experience than you'll find at other California wineries. For some extra decadence, limousines are available for hire. Almost all of the fruit processed here comes from estate vineyards, and it’s all certified organic. Using our world travel planner, Napa attractions like Domaine Carneros can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Rude and unwelcoming. Our buzzer went off and the short dark haired woman in reception, Ashley I think, looked right at us and walked away. This was after her saying she just had to get a table set...

  • My husband and I came here on a Saturday to enjoy or reservation for bites and bubbles. It was a sparkling wine and Moroccan food experience. The drive up to the property is amazing and the building is beautiful agai st the backdrop of the mountains. Then the grounds itself are amazing and provide a great place to sit and enjoy the weather. The inside was no less awe inspiring. Beautiful and elegant was the best way to describe the decor. Our server Tom provided some background on the place and then walked is through the tasting. He was funny and engaging, definitely enjoyed him throughout our stay. The wine was very good. I enjoyed how we got to try everything from extra dry to slightly sweet. The food was also delicious. For the price I wish we got a little bit more food, but the pours were generous. I'd recommend a stop in!
  • This was my first time visiting Napa and this winery definitely took the cake for my favorite winery all day. The sparkling options for flights were delicious. We really enjoyed our server he even gave us a poor of one of their best sellers off of the flight menu. We tried to make reservations however they were fully booked but when we walked up to the counter they still allowed us to be seated immediately. Beautiful views. I will be back.
  • Lovely winery with a grand main building and inside and outside seating. Try to book outside seating at the back of the building if possible, where you get the best views. Decently priced tasting menu with what felt like very generous pours. I was a little disappointed to not get a tasting fee waived with purchase of wine. Plus the tip is calculated on top of any wine purchases so it does end up being pretty expensive.
  • Want the French estate setting for your wine tasting - this is the place! Or want to propose to someone - seems like this is the place! We went for a tasting and had a very chill good time. Roamed the terrace and garden. Definitely smell the roses; they are the real kind, especially the lighter colored ones. Couldn’t get to the vineyard exactly but some places are not setup for that. Tasted whites and reds; all agreeable but nothing blew my mind necessarily. The setting makes up for some of that. The terrace, especially one overlooking the entrance area is the best place to sit. They do have plenty of umbrellas and indoor seating too. The wine expert who helped us was great; he told us how he used to pick the grapes and worked his way through the whole process before taking part in serving guests. Super knowledgeable and was kindly answering all of our questions about producing wine here. It was a very reasonable wine tasting, under $100 and good value. We did a sparkling and a red so we can share to experience more variety. Pours were very generous, some glasses we couldn’t finish. Nevertheless we had a great ending; right before our eyes, like a movie, this young man got on his knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him. After crying, hugging.. all to the claps and cheers from everyone, she said Yes! It was fun and good to see this sort of thing still happens. Made our tasting even more memorable. So go and enjoy and you might even get a show! Saluti!
  • Stunning venue with lovely wine. We went for the sparkling wine package and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio, enjoying the warmth under an umbrella. There were nibbles but we had already planned for cheese back at Oxbow Market. Andres was very attentive and informative. Highly recommend.
