  • Alston Park offers both a large lease free area where dogs can run and two fenced areas. One area for small dogs and another for all dogs.  more »
  • This is by and large a dog park - lots of dogs (off leash) with owners - no problems with that and there were some other hikers but mostly dog-walkers. Dusty and dry!  more »
  • In the past we traveled with our Yorkie Nicki and brought her to the park every morning to walk. She loved the park and loved walking, she is walking all the parks in heaven now. We sprinkled some of ...  more »

  • This is a lovely trail up and down hills with great views of the vineyards and the nearby town. The 2-3 mile trail branches off in several places, but it's very easy to find your way back. There are many random benches and even a picnic table. There will be dogs without leashes, even in the areas where a leash is required and there are water bowls for the dogs as well. There are not very clean portables instead of a bathroom. Not wheelchair accessible and you may be able to get an all-terrain stroller in here but you need to have some really good muscles to get it up these hills. It was pretty muddy too, so bring your boots!
  • Great hiking trail. Many bring their dogs along into several acres of beautiful trails. Many watering spots set up by the park for yourself and your pet. There iare two dog parks one for large dogs and the other for small dogs if you wish your pet to have some play time.
  • Decent trails and dog park. Lots of fox tails and sharp gravel rocks for the dog's paws to pick up and plenty of dirty bowls of water for the dog's!☹️
  • Many of the psychpathic HRC supporters have retreated to their summer homes in the Hamptons and left the place feeling somewhat normal again.
  • Amazing PLACE to walk hike bike and picnic and walk your dogs...clean beautiful scenery and just all in all a great place

Where to stay in Napa

To explore North America's largest wine-growing region and remain close to fine dining and shopping, consider staying at a bed and breakfast located in downtown Napa. Many centrally located inns offer spacious rooms with fireplaces, free Wi-Fi, and on-site swimming pools. If you don't mind splurging, consider staying at one of the wine valley's lavishly furnished villas, many of which feature private lakes and access to a network of scenic hiking trails. You can also go all out at a luxury resort located in a picturesque vineyard setting.
