Where to stay in Napa

To explore North America's largest wine-growing region and remain close to fine dining and shopping, consider staying at a bed and breakfast located in downtown Napa. Many centrally located inns offer spacious rooms with fireplaces, free Wi-Fi, and on-site swimming pools. If you don't mind splurging, consider staying at one of the wine valley's lavishly furnished villas, many of which feature private lakes and access to a network of scenic hiking trails. You can also go all out at a luxury resort located in a picturesque vineyard setting.

  • The people that helped us were dismissive and rude. They offered us only one of two tasting menus available- of Course they brought us the more expensive choice. It wasn't until we asked for our bill that we learned a less expensive option was available. They gave attention to the large groups that were loud and were acted like they would buy in volume rather than the couple. We were prepared to buy several bottles but the staff's behavior and attitude turned us off.

  • Super disappointed with Etude and its treatment of the the landscape that has been a part of Carneros and the Cuttings Warf history for longer than most have lived here. What a disrespectful shame. Broke my heart to come home and find the Great Trees being cut to the ground.
  • Having heard so much about their pinot noirs and having never been here I was excited to try them out. The tasting room is beautiful, the wines were lovely, and the staff was fantastic. Even though they were (I'm told unexpectedly) jammed with people on a Tuesday afternoon, our pourer David went out of his way to make us feel welcome and informed. As we were quite happy to stand back and allow him to serve others who were perhaps in a bit more of a hurry than ourselves, David made sure we got to try all nine different pinots they produce. A true education! All in all a great time
  • David gave us a wonderful experience!
