  • I last visited Boulder Cave as a 6th header and had a wonderful time. The cave was dark and a little scary (no sound or light is disorienting) but it was a great tome. We hiked the trail, had lunch...  more »
  • I hadn't been to Boulder Cave since the 7th grade and I've always been curious to go back. This is a fun hike that most people can do. It's about 3 quarter of a mile up and then some down. I didn't...  more »
  • This trail was easy to find, well marked and very well maintained. The forest service has informative signs to explain why and how the caves got there. This is a fee area ($5.00) and a flashlight is....  more »
  • This was such a great hike and trail. You go up somewhat of a hill, and it is long enough and challenging enough for little ones, but not too long as to overwhelm them. Once you Crest the hill, you start to descend into the actual cave entrance. It is a really beautiful sight, going through the cave. Although it is really sad about the decline of bat populations, so do your best to pack out any garbage and litter, make sure to keep your flashlights down, in the noise level down as well so as not to disturb what few remaining bats do make Boulder cave their home.
  • Amazing place. A little crowded. It was one car in one car out when we went. Worth the wait. We had 4 kids in tow from 4-9 and they all had a blast.
  • So much fun!!! It was so incredibly amazing in so many ways!!! Wholesome family fun and everyone had a blast! The hike was pretty easy and the views were spectacular and breathtaking from every next angle! Loved it and we will be returning soon!
  • Beautiful spot. Short hike to and through the caves(my out of breath brother in law might not agree)). We swam, no problem drinking beer in the park. Fun day.
  • Great family place for picnics and hiking. The staff there do a great job at keeping it clean. It is a fee site so 5$ per car. Which I think is fair. Just take a big vehicle.
