Escape the sun for a day at Wonder Works, a hands-on museum with more than 100 exhibitions, including experiencing hurricane-like winds indoors and landing a NASA spacecraft. When you enter the museum, you'll notice that everything in the room is upside-down. This museum is like an amusement park in many ways, and it makes science fun and accessible for everyone. Once you've checked out all of the hands-on exhibitions, you can play laser tag, hang out on the ropes course, or take a seat on its 6-D Extreme Motion Ride. You can even take a ride a virtual roller coaster of your own design! Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Wonder Works by using our Myrtle Beach trip generator.

  • I went there on Friday, June 23 and it was an incredible time. It wasn't really busy and I took my 9 and 12 year old. They loved the simulated rides and the Extreme 360. The exhibits were a lot of fun and my kids did most of them and were not bored one second. You have the option of leaving and coming back if you'd like. We went at 11:00 and were there for five hours and we could've stayed longer. For a rainy day in Myrtle Beach, it's a great option. We didn't do the zip line. We thought that was a little too expensive and our kids were still excited with the value.
  • We've been here before and it's a decent place to visit - it's better if you have elementary-age or older kids. The basic price includes laser tag and ropes course, a great deal if you can do those things. You can't, however, opt out of those options so you pay for something you can't do. The third floor is more of an arcade, which means your shelling out more money. Go early if you can - less crowded.
  • This truly is great place (for kids)! Me and the wife went not knowing anything about this place. The pricing is great and there's so many things to there (for kids)! The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because if kids are there adults have to be there too. So I just wanted something a little more. Everyone must try the zip lining (which is part of the VIP package). And the virtual rollercoaster.
  • It good fun. It mild enough for kids and teens and exciting enough for adults to enjoy as well. There is only one door that u can use to go in and out to get to the restroom but re entry is easy. Good way to entertain the WHOLE family
  • I had such a great experience here. Although the museum is for children, a family of all ages can enjoy their time here. You learn and get to experience a lot as soon as you walk through the door. Our favorite was the XD theater. It was great!!
