  • I'll find another place to golf if I plan on another trip to Myrtle Beach. I traded price for quality and regret it.

  • Have played there on and off over past several years. Used to live in the neighborhood 3 or 4 years ago and from then to present they are always making some type of improvement to the course. No fancy club house to drain their revenue so they are always making the course better and i really like that. Also they do a wonderful job with junior players and events, and their scrambles are lots of fun with lots of free goodies! Highly recommend you give them a shot next time you are playing in the area
  • Scott Taylor is one of the nicest Golf Professionals you will ever meet. Very accommodating, and simply wants you to have the best time possible, playing his course. We played the Otter & the Bear, and liked both. The greens had recently been aerated, so the price had been adjusted accordingly, and didn't really affect play, for us. If looking for a casual, relaxing round, I would highly recommend the River Oaks.
  • A pretty good course for the price. The Fox course was nice. The Bear was in pretty rough shape. It was pretty crowded and slow playing.
  • Very professional staff! Course was in outstanding condition. I will play here again.
  • The course was challenging and most of the staff were great. Even though the greens were punched, putts rolled pretty true. Paid reasonable price since the greens were punched. Only thing that really pissed me off is when I tried to return a dozen golf balls that I had bought thinking I needed them but after nine holes I realized I didn't need them at all. The box was still new and the balls unused. However the guy behind the counter tells me I don't do refunds! WTH!!!! Will not be going back!!!
