Mt. Atlanticus, Myrtle Beach

4.3
#1 of 98 in Golf in Coastal South Carolina
Play miniature golf among dodo birds, ostriches, the Loch Ness monster, and minotaurs at Mt. Atlanticus. While you take your golf ball through this piece of Atlantis (that allegedly broke off and floated to Myrtle Beach), you'll encounter alien drawings, see the fountain of youth, find Einstein's calculations, and possibly meet Elvis Presley. You'll move through huts, caves, and tropical forests. There are 18 regular holes; if you score on the 19th--bonus hole--you'll win a lifetime pass to the attraction and get your picture on the clubhouse wall. Very large indoor/outdoor place. The frontdesk very pleasant but she told us it takes about an hour or two to complete one course. Which we thought it's a long course. Well we had to wait at each hole...  more »

This is probably one of the best miniture golf spots I have ever played. It was 4 stories of lazy river, waterfalls, tiki huts, and just plain fun!!! The family had a blast!!!  more »

Chose the Minotaur course (more caves) during the late afternoon time. Wasn’t crowded but can see with all the benches around each hole that it can be very crowded (probably at night). The course itse...  more »

This place blows all other miniature golf places away! They have 2 18-hole courses and each one was entertaining and fun. Lots of flowers/plants and benches to sit on as you wait on your turn and very well kept and nice. We went 2 different nights to play and had a great time! The only warning I have is be ready to walk! In between some of the holes are scenic walks and some have lots of stairs! Pretty though!

I've been coming to Myrtle Beach for years and always play mini golf...can't believe I just found this one! By far the most fun and challenging course I've done. Worth the price! We went around 5:30 on Friday evening and walked right through with nobody in front of or behind us. It was hot out, but there's plenty of shade and some holes are indoors. So much fun!

Lots of scenery and great decor everything is painted for the Greek mythology theme. Staff very friendly and let's you know about the courses. there's two 18 hole courses! The courses have seen some play which is to be expected with it's great location. Parking was easy and plentiful, I would suggest going early to avoid crowds, we walked right through at 10am! The course was huge but is laid it really well and marked clearly. All day ticket is cheap and worth it if you want to play more than 1 game.

Our favorite mini golf on the Grand Strand. Located a couple blocks from the ocean and board walk. This is a challenging 36 hole course. Play both courses to get the full flavor of the fun layout. It is spread out over three stories, and the holes have a gothic Greek theme. Fun courses to play.

Great place to go mini golfing! $10 per adult per course. Or $14 per adult for unlimited all day play of both courses. They also have a great selection of gifts you can buy before you leave! I played the "Minotaur" course this time. I had a blast! The decorations are cute and I can not wait to go back! The holes are easy to play and yet tricky at the same time. Next time I come to the beach I'm going back to this place to play the other course, the "Conch" course.
