Mt. Atlanticus, Myrtle Beach

4.3
#1 of 99 in Golf in Coastal South Carolina
Play miniature golf among dodo birds, ostriches, the Loch Ness monster, and minotaurs at Mt. Atlanticus. While you take your golf ball through this piece of Atlantis (that allegedly broke off and floated to Myrtle Beach), you'll encounter alien drawings, see the fountain of youth, find Einstein's calculations, and possibly meet Elvis Presley. You'll move through huts, caves, and tropical forests. There are 18 regular holes; if you score on the 19th--bonus hole--you'll win a lifetime pass to the attraction and get your picture on the clubhouse wall. Work out when and for how long to visit Mt. • This course is the best on the beach. Lots of fun and challenging. They also have more than one course for you to choose from.  more »
  • We had a little time, so decided to play a round at Atlanticus. It was a good decision. The course is huge, and has a variety of challenges. The grounds are well kept and interesting to see. Good luck...  more »

  • Awesome mini golf course and great obstacles to putt through. Fun course throughout and very reasonable prices. They even have a rate where you can play all day. You can also take a chance to make a really challenging putt at the end for free golf for a lifetime and you can get your photo on the wall of fame.
  • I loved all 36 holes of putt putt and it was priced well considering how much you can play. The course was not overly easy, but I did get 4 holes in one on each of the courses. I love the 19th hole idea, getting a hole in one and you get a lifetime play at the course....it is a next to impossible shot, but I love the idea and the chance. My only complaint was that it seemed like the course could use a little TLC and updating. But definitely enjoyable and I will go back.
  • Fun place, Sunday right at opening in late October what perfect, no crowds. Tip for anyone with bad knees there are lots of stairs. There is one elevator though. Really neat caves, little swings and great views. Worth the money it was a lot of fun!
  • Open 10 am to 4 pm, hours extend as it gets closer to summer. Average cost for 1 round is 10 dollars (all day pass for 14). They offer a military discount. 2 different courses and each challenging(but fun!) enough to make you chuck your putter. The theme is a very cool ancient creatures/ Greek or Roman myth theme and the kids love it. Everything is clean, and refreshments are actually pretty cheap in the gift shop. Parking is usually abundant but during the peak of summer, you may have to park further away. I've been coming since I was a kid and I still get an adrenaline rush on the challenge hole after the 18th where if you can knock the ball down a narrow strip of land and get a hole in one, you win a lifetime pass! Never have done it haha.
  • Great mini golf, the best one I have ever played. 2 different courses to choose from. Very well kept and interesting course to play. You play up 3 stories of holes to a end view of the coast like 4 stories high. So be ready for stairs. Highly recommend.
