  • I've been to this park multiple times, and I always have a good experience. That being said, some updates could be done. Swap Fox is quite rough and could use re-tracking. The log flume boats are a bi...  more »

  • This is a small amusement park that is very manageable in less than a day. If the kids are dying to go on some rides (despite the fact that the entire beach is right there for them) this might scratch...  more »

  • Nice little amusement park. Prices are steep for what they have. It's essentially a slightly larger version of a state fair, with a roller coaster and go carts added. Definitely get the $3 off coupon from the books around the beach to save some money. It doesn't apply if you get the family 4 pack however. Also the Go Karts only use tickets, not your unlimited wrist band. If that's your thing, get the Go Kart tickets at the same time you get your bracelet/other tickets otherwise you'll have to get back in line. Definitely pay attention to the height restriction board at the ticket counter. You could end up buying way more tickets than rides your child can actually ride. We went on a weekday right after opening and there was hardly a wait for rides. The longest waits were for the big roller coaster, go Karts and the Log ride, and even those weren't too long.
  • my family and i had a wonderful time at the family kingdom amusement park in myrtle beach south carolina on our vacation this past week. The rides were easy to access without a long wait for the adult rides and even less for kid rides. the refreshments were a bit high games WHERE VERY OVERPRICED!!! My kids are ages 7 and 12 i am 42 and we all had great fun!!! My mother in law was not charged anything to get in the gates because she was not going to be riding rides , that was really nice to have an option. most places are not the same.
  • This place was so fun! There were plenty of rides for my 2 year old and he had a blast on the little semi trucks. My daughter and husband had an amazing time on the shooting rides. And most of all we loved the log ride. We got the refreshingly wet but were not soaked. Me and my daughter thought the Swamp Fox was a little rough. And the prices were very high. The price was over 100 dollars for the four of us.But very good for an afternoon with the family.
  • I love this place and so do the kids. Lots of family focused fun without having to deal with a bunch of lunatics going out of control in a drunken beach fest. But... Whatever you do, don't have a photo purchase sent to you. The help this year is under-trained and incapable of understanding their jobs, apparently. This was the first year my daughter was tall enough to ride their (excellent) roller coaster - she & I were beside ourselves with excitement. So, of course, we had to buy the photo of us in the front car, arms in the air, screaming with enthusiasm. Woohoo! Right? Nah... Forked over my $8 (or so) and was told my picture was on the way. Got the receipt, all that... Not that it matters - whoever the incompetent was who did the order screwed it up. And it's not there. So, priceless memory is just that; a memory only. No one seemed to care and kept telling me the photo would be on the online site. So, management is, apparently just as incompetent as the employees... Otherwise, fun place. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth...
  • I had a blast visiting Family Kingdom. I went to one of the booths for drinks after rides and Robert was really nice and helpful. I will come back again. My kids loved it as well.
