  • This was one of the best amusement parks I went to. But all the workers are foreign in the summer that's not a bad thing but they're hard to understand sometimes. I recommend buying the all ride pass that gets you into most rides. This way you can have much more fun. My personal favorites were the yo yo, log flume, twist n' shout and the huge wooden white roller coaster(I forgot the name but you'll know when you see it). In all this was amazing!!
  • Nice little amusement park. Prices are steep for what they have. It's essentially a slightly larger version of a state fair, with a roller coaster and go carts added. Definitely get the $3 off coupon from the books around the beach to save some money. It doesn't apply if you get the family 4 pack however. Also the Go Karts only use tickets, not your unlimited wrist band. If that's your thing, get the Go Kart tickets at the same time you get your bracelet/other tickets otherwise you'll have to get back in line. Definitely pay attention to the height restriction board at the ticket counter. You could end up buying way more tickets than rides your child can actually ride. We went on a weekday right after opening and there was hardly a wait for rides. The longest waits were for the big roller coaster, go Karts and the Log ride, and even those weren't too long.
  • my family and i had a wonderful time at the family kingdom amusement park in myrtle beach south carolina on our vacation this past week. The rides were easy to access without a long wait for the adult rides and even less for kid rides. the refreshments were a bit high games WHERE VERY OVERPRICED!!! My kids are ages 7 and 12 i am 42 and we all had great fun!!! My mother in law was not charged anything to get in the gates because she was not going to be riding rides , that was really nice to have an option. most places are not the same.
  • Lot's of rides (for younger children) to choose from, for a flat rate. Free admission, stroller rental ($5-$6) and decently priced concessions with close/fair-priced parking ($5-^, or park on the street and feed a meter) make this a great venue for an alternative to a carnival. Plan on arriving early during the week if you'd like to be the only one on the rides, without a wait. This place seems to become heavily populated near sundown. Adults ride free with child on certain kiddie rides!!
  • This place was so fun! There were plenty of rides for my 2 year old and he had a blast on the little semi trucks. My daughter and husband had an amazing time on the shooting rides. And most of all we loved the log ride. We got the refreshingly wet but were not soaked. Me and my daughter thought the Swamp Fox was a little rough. And the prices were very high. The price was over 100 dollars for the four of us.But very good for an afternoon with the family.
