  • We had a great time in 2014 and went back on our visit during 2016. Our family painted a tile for the ceiling and it was fun finding it; overall, a great visit and revisit for smaller children.
  • Wonderful hands on museum with plenty of activities for little ones to keep them busy for a couple of hours on a rainy day. Kids under two are free-adults are $8 each. In addition to free play, there ...  read more »

  • We are about to head down to Myrtle Beach this year and I came across this site again while looking for some family friendly things for us to do. I don't normally post reviews but I figure if I can keep some other parents from wasting their money, I will. I took my eighteen month old daughter here last year with a friend and we both ended up paying eight dollars along with the fee for her to get in. I expected it to have little stations like most other children's museums but there were just random toys scattered around and most of them were broken. I agree with some of the other posters who said it looked like a daycare because they are not wrong. The bubble maker was broken and she got bubble mix all over her shoes. I walked out with less money and a very sticky kid. It seemed pretty dirty and although there were a few select things that my daughter enjoyed, mainly the ship in the middle of the building, I will not be back.
  • A definite success. It was $8 a head to get in but the kids (7, 5 & 3) had an endless blast. There really is a lot to do here. It's not awesome but the kids enjoyed all of the various different things available to them. There's enough education to call it a museum but it's more of a playhouse than anything else. If you're on vacation and need a break, take then here, let them play and just relax for a while. There are two rooms so move back and forth a couple of times.
  • It's not horrible, but it has potential to much better. We came here while visiting from Charlotte and we thought it would be like Discovery Place. Close, and much smaller. The price is okay, we had a Groupon deal so it was no major problem. Maybe if there was much more financial support from the local community it could be really fun.
  • This place is terrible! If I could give it 0 stars I would have! We bought the Groupon and drove from Charleston just wanting to do something nice and fun with the kids and let me tell you had I not nought the Groupon we wouldn't have even attempted to go in! Upon pulling up to what looks like an abandoned parking lot with what looks like abandoned buildings you instantly think that it wasn't even open I swear I would have turned right back around I kept asking my husband if that was the right place. Well like I said we bought the Groupon so I figured we might as well go inside and check it out well we literally walked in the kids attempted to play with a few things all missing the pieces and they couldn't even do anything with it and we went to the bathroom and left. We were in there 5 mins. I can't believe I wasted my money on this place I'm so disappointed. We left and went to wonderworks. You've been warned don't waste your money!
  • Not bad, been there a few times over our three year olds life. Could use some more painting but it does get used hard by kids. Week days are good but call ahead to see if there are classes coming in. Always groupons available for half price
