  • Decided to take our 5 1/2 year old grandson there for awhile. Definitely not worth it. Half the things didnt make noise, no costumes for dress up as specified. He was bored within minutes. Dont waste ...  more »
  • Nice option for toddlers - those 5 and under. Would not say it is terribly educational, but is great fun and allows little ones the opportunity to use their imaginations. Nice size museum and easy to ...  more »
  • We had a great time in 2014 and went back on our visit during 2016. Our family painted a tile for the ceiling and it was fun finding it; overall, a great visit and revisit for smaller children.

  • I'm glad this was a free thing because like the reviews it's a run down daycare. Few things kept my 7 yr old twins entertained. The staff was ok, but just stayed up front. They had more fun w/ the guest staffing an clown then the actual place. Please save your money, this place needs major updating and learn what a museum really is, because this isn't one
  • A definite success. It was $8 a head to get in but the kids (7, 5 & 3) had an endless blast. There really is a lot to do here. It's not awesome but the kids enjoyed all of the various different things available to them. There's enough education to call it a museum but it's more of a playhouse than anything else. If you're on vacation and need a break, take then here, let them play and just relax for a while. There are two rooms so move back and forth a couple of times.
  • Save your money, dont bother. We drove from Florence to take our two children, ages 4 & 5. The exhibits were old, faded, and honestly lack luster. The employees sat at the front desk the whole time, enthralled with the Kuerig that was just brought and not very friendly. In the back, most of the hands on items were either broken, smelly or missing pieces. They are not investing money into this place and it shows. Huge disappointment. And even when we sent a text sharing this information to the number supplied "for comments" stating we refund would be in order, there was no reply. Smh
  • We are about to head down to Myrtle Beach this year and I came across this site again while looking for some family friendly things for us to do. I don't normally post reviews but I figure if I can keep some other parents from wasting their money, I will. I took my eighteen month old daughter here last year with a friend and we both ended up paying eight dollars along with the fee for her to get in. I expected it to have little stations like most other children's museums but there were just random toys scattered around and most of them were broken. I agree with some of the other posters who said it looked like a daycare because they are not wrong. The bubble maker was broken and she got bubble mix all over her shoes. I walked out with less money and a very sticky kid. It seemed pretty dirty and although there were a few select things that my daughter enjoyed, mainly the ship in the middle of the building, I will not be back.
  • Took our 2yr old & 3 yr old to boo bash. A complete waste of time and money. It was nothing but a dirty daycare. They claim to have activities and booths set up for trick or treating but it was nothing. Never going back for anything.
