I have been going to Myrtle beach for 30 years and I have walked on the beach under the Apache pier a hundred times, never thinking of going on it. Last week while walking with my wife I said to her, ...  more »

We were able to rent fishing equipment which was wonderful so that we didn't have to pack it all. Very nice cover over the pier so that we weren't baking in the sun. Also we were able to catch some ra...  more »

This was a nice pier to get some pictures of the ocean. You have to pay $5 to park and another $1 per person to go out on the pier. I thought it was a little ridiculous to have to pay 2 fees. Parking ...  more »

Rude as hell. Took my wife and 2 adult kids to fish. Paid for all 4 of us. Got accused of not paying, and showed my receipt. No apology at all. Piss poor fishing and very expensive bait shop. Wouldn't go back if it were free.

My family has been coming to the pier area for 10 years. We have used the pier for fishing and the arcade every year. Today my 13 year son was flipped off by someone fishing on the pier who felt he was too close to the pier. Considering we have been near the pier and thousands of people walk under the pier daily, this is a shock. The manager did nothing but asked us to move away. I will never do business with the pier again.

Croakers food is great. Grilled Shrimp & scallops are the best. Try the New South White Ale on tap.

Stayed on the camp grounds with our family. Had a blast, staff was awesome. Best out house showers I have ever seened.

The pier itself is very nice , however the staff including the new pier manager Bill is extremely rude . Clearly he cares nothing about tourists , his attitude was beyond acceptable. My wife and I stopped in for some fishing while we were in myrtle beach and when we went to pay for our tickets I asked what type of bait they carry , Bill responds with " same bait you would get anywhere else , what you don't know " NO I DONT I'm not from the area how am I supposed to know what your run down little tackle shop stocks . He needs to be cleaning aquariums rather than working with customers . He needs a new job , that one is not for him . Will never return . And will never recommend it to anyone else , take the 10 min trip and go to springmaid . Much better fishing and service there or state park pier !
