  • We beat the heat by floating down the lazy river while the kids run up and down the stairs to the 2 fun water slides. Have little ones, no problem they have their own place to explore. Affordable, coo...  read more »

  • The water park itself is very nice and clean. However, we have a 2 year old and we brought a floaty so that all three of us could relax in the pool. The lifeguards very quickly informed us that we weren't allowed to use that. That's fine, IF they provided them. They only have floaties for adults and the life jackets for infants are unsafe in my opinion because it's easy for them to roll over and submerge their entire head underwater. So, just beware that if you have young kiddos, this probably isn't the place for you.
  • Great place for young kids , if you use equipment properly lifejackets are just fine. It clearly states no floaters things that are not life guard approved it's the same everywhere. Do just be mindful and have enough sense to plan ahead and watch your children closely.
  • A very clean & safe waterpark that has lots of lifeguards on staff to ensure that your child is going to have a safe and fun experience! No long lines to get in or at concessions. The landscaping is very pleasant and over all a very enjoyable, relaxing environment for myself as a parent.
  • We reserved a spot for my daughter's birthday 3 days before her birthday finally after calling the parks and recreation department of Muskogee due to calling River Country everyday for a week straight and getting no answer and no returns on any of our voice mails we left. The day of the party we were told to bring a guest list of the 10 guest that would be paid for and that each additional guest would be 6 dollars which included a 12 oz. Drink, we checked in and gave them the list there were additional guest with us when we checked in who paid for themselves, we were asked to choose 2 beverages we would like served, the 2 we chose were root beer and orange fanta, we proceeded to look for the party Pavillion on our own and finally had to ask for directions as this was our first time here. As guest on the original 10 people list started arriving they were asked to pay for themselves, I had to go to the attendant and explain to her these were people on the guest list that were already paid for by the $120 reservation once everyone arrived we sang happy birthday to my daughter cut and served the cake and still had no drinks her time frame for the party was 1:30 - 3pm she began opening her gifts and by 2:30 we still had no drinks served to us, we again had to go ask the attendant who then brought us only 10 cups for the original guest list no additional cups for the additional guest that paid for the party and brought us one pitcher of flat watered down Coca-Cola and one pitcher of flat watered down Dr. Pepper. The Web site had said the birthday child would receive a River Country t-shirt which she did not get, and has been removed from the website. When I called about the shirt they said they no longer offer that, I also told them we were very disappointed in the party reservation and all she could say was "okay well thank you I'll pass it on" The kids had a great time at the park itself but I would definitely NOT recommend wasting your money on a party with them, you're better off singing happy birthday and serving cake at their picnic tables out front and paying for 10 guest to get into the park rather than paying their ridiculous prices basically just to be able to reserve a Pavillion that's already empty to begin with and to be able to bring a cake into the gate.
  • My kids , grandkids and i went to the water park a few days ago and we all had the best time. It was a blast. Everyone was very nice, park is very clean and they care about everyone's. Safety. Yes they did check. Our bags as we went in, and as a parent that didnt upset me at all because that let me know that they want this park to be and remain a FAMILY PARK. Hats off to Muskogee River Country Water Park. We will always come here for family fun.!!
