  • Love spending a nice day here. The visitors center is very nicely laid out and informative. There are multiple wooded trails if you want to feel like you're more in nature as well as some paved ones. Trails are lined with info and visual pieces. One of my favorite walking spots!
  • History is an important part of life. You must learn from the mistakes and achievements of times gone by. Loved the visit here. Everyone was nice and informative when I had a question. Did not go on the official tour of the battlefield but decided to do it on my own. The museum was in good condition. Will definitely be back.
  • Really cool park and history that I was pretty much unaware of. The park itself is very well maintained and I thought it was neat how it's part of the city. This park has the cellphone guided tour so you can find out more information along the way. Lots of locals taking advantage of the miles of trails, which I personally think is great!
  • Took my grandson to Stones River and he had a wonderful time. He participated in completing the Junior Ranger program and was sworn in. He was so proud of himself and I was too! Great way to promote National Parks and foster an interest by children in nature and history.
  • This national park is amazing! I love the small feel of it, yet there is loads of information and history. The staff were so helpful and loved my kids. We got the Junior Ranger activity books, went to all the different stops, and after they had them completed, they were sworn in as Junior Rangers and received a metal pin and a ranger badge, for free I might add :) It was the best history lesson my kids have had!
