  • This place is small but worth a stop if you're in the area. Built out of traincars, there is a section of the museum that tells of the area of the area and the phosphate industry. Inside the gift shop, they have dinosaur fossils and casts including some that Mosaic have found while digging. Outside, you can dig in the dirt pile they have there to find your own fossils including bones and shark teeth. All of this is free too! If you decide to buy something form the gift shop or leave a donation, be aware that they only take cash.
  • Great Museum for seeing the history mining of Phosphate. Nice collection of artifacts and fossils. My kids love digging in the fossil pit for shark teeth.
  • It was interesting but not great. It was more of a phosphate industry propaganda tool.
  • It's small but nice. They now have an old train (engine) from the late 1800's on display outside. They dug this up I think in 2013. Great for kids.
  • Oddly interesting, if you have time to kill. This was just going to be a stop on part of a bigger day trip I was taking, but hung around a while, it's pretty interesting when you start reading about all of it.
