  • I absolutely love this place! My husband and I go every week and do most of our grocery shopping here. It;s open year round, every Sunday from 9am -1pm.The selection is amazing they have everything fr...  more »

  • This is easily one of the best south bay farmers markets and easy to get to. Parking is available within a few blocks. It's right next to CalTrain & the VTA line. There are at least 10+ organic farmer...  more »

  • This is really a five-star market, but only for those who live within walking distance -- i.e. the SV elite, and those who were lucky enough to own nearby well ahead of Google's reign, and both of the above. Parking is the bane of the experience, especially at peak hours. And when the trip is combined with a Post Office stop, it could ruin one's day when the quest for a parking spot becomes a time sink in what would otherwise be a drop in and go experience. Many quality options here, and I don't care for the prices being too high or whatever people might think. We're supporting businesses that provide one of our most fundamental needs and they do so in (ideally) more virtuous ways relatively to what happens to get similar items into supermarkets and grocery stores. I can't imagine many stands are making a killing, but to think that some of these mainstays have been around for the maybe 10 years or more that I have been going, I guess they're doing alright. Good for them. Good for us. Good for humanity.
  • It has nice collection of veggies and fruits as everyone has mentioned. The main attraction for me is the stall that sells fresh potted herbs which can be used for seasoning salads. The way it is potted looks so neat and cute. Definitely recommend one to add it to their Sunday schedule . :)
  • CalTrain Parking Lot packed with food stalls and vendors. A wide variety of choices from fresh meats to fresh produce. Some really good ready to eat hot food stalls. My favorites: Garden to Grill's burgers! and Farm Chick for bone broth ingredients. Get here early (9am) to get in and get out with what you came for. Market gets packed as the day wears on. Parking is difficult to find later in the day as well.
  • Very good location to go for a walk every Sunday around downtown. Used to be more affordable but now prices had been up a lot. Coffee is really good.
  • If it is in season you can probably find it here — fruits, vegetables, flowers. Also nuts, dairy products, eggs, meat, fish, prepared foods, and wonderful bread. Friendly vendors eager to share their stories as well as sell their products. Coming from the Northeast, I am so envious of those who live in Mountain View, particularly in winter. The food is so fresh, and the prices so reasonable. I like that I can find the vendors in their usual spots each time I visit. If I lived here I would be at the market every Sunday stocking up for the week ahead.
