  • While I've been to the Falls many times in the summer, this was my first visit in the winter. Spectacular, and a lot less crowded!
  • We went here with our 2 young kids and were able to push a stroller through the trail to the falls from the ny side. We were told the other trail is shorter but much more strenuous. It was a nice easy...  more »
  • This was a beautiful, fun stop! You can do a quick rock scramble ascent to get a beautiful scenic view, or you can do one of two hiking paths to get to the falls. One is a 300 ft descent over a quarte...  more »

  • Nice hike! Two trail options available at different difficulty levels. The Mass. side of the park offers a slightly shorter, but steeper hike down to the waterfall while the NY side offers a flatter, wider but longer walk to the falls.
  • A beautiful place to visit and hike. The Falls are wonderful and well worth the short hike to get there. The entire area is worth spending time in and investigating.
  • We hiked to the falls from the camping ground. It was 1.5 miles there but the hike wasn't tiring and you will get to cross the NY-MA state line along the way. It's a very pleasant place. There were quite a few who chose to swim despite the no swimming sign.
  • Took a hike in September and ended up at the falls where we set up for a little picnic on some of the many flat rocks, and did some swimming. Great hike (always cool when you get to hike across state lines). Of course being a mountain stream the water is chilly but well worth it to take a dip. You can even swim over directly underneath the waterfall and take one a very high pressure shower.
  • An easy hike up with other options for more extensive and intensive hikes. Family friendly environment and just by the border in between MA and NY
