Wow! Is all I can say. This place is very well cared for!! The people working are so nice and tentative to keep things clean! I love love love love that the river flows through the backside. My son had a BLAST as did the rest of our family that came out to visit!! ☺️ Clyde Holiday tops our lists of visits to state parks! Seriously impressed!
Beautiful place. We stayed in a tee pee. Pretty cool. There is electricity and they provided a fan and heater but no lights so bring your own. And citronella!!! Very clean park and nice camp host.
Nice clean campground with beautiful green grass and landscaping. Restrooms were nice and clean. We had no problem getting our RV in the spot. I enjoyed the river walk. Nice wide gravel trail that was an easy walk. They even have 2 teepees you can rent. They sell ice. Will stay again if we pass through that area. Highly recommend.
Easy access on and off Hwy 26 from either direction and has parking for large trucks and RV's from the eastbound entrance. Beautiful manicured lawns with restrooms, picnic tables and benches along the river path. Also has RV sites available. Very helpful and informative camp hosts. Love this place!
Outstanding. Lush and well-maintained. Friendly hosts, plentiful firewood, ice, showers, and more. Nice little walk along John Day river. Good birding! Only downside is a bit of road noise + occasional mosquito attack. We will definitely be back.
