  • This a a great smaller resort with slower lifts and...... interesting grooming. If you are in the area during winter, it is a very inexpensive and fun mountain. It is also a great place to learn and h...  read more »

  • Our local Mt. Shasta Ski Park was open from Dec - April, and I was sad when they finally closed due to warm weather. I learned to snowboard under the absolute best conditions, at least twice a week. T...  read more »
  • Great ski park for those looking for a more chill vibe. 3 lifts and a lodge and waiting area. Decent powder runs off of Coyote lift, easy going runs off of Marmit, and a terrain park off Douglas. Get there early to avoid the afternoon crowd, or stay late for night skiing! The path up can be icy, so please drive slowly and stay sharp!
  • I love this little park. Get there early and you have the mountain to yourself. Not the size of the big Tahoe resorts but big enough to have fun and challenge yourself. Food is decent and the bar is pretty good. Staying in the area is really cheap, check out homes to rent in McCloud.
  • Amazing place, much more accessible prices compared to other ski resorts in California and less crowded. They have lower prices for begginers who won't go to the lift, but only stay at surface areas. We could park the car very close to the entrance, even though it was already 10am (other parks fill much quicker). 1h drive from Redding, easy access, mostly good roads.
  • $47 for a half day that runs form noon to 8pm and includes night skiing, what a deal. its a smaller mountain with only 3 lifts, enough to run the entire mountain in a day. humble man's version of tahoe, no resort
  • I recommend doing the avalanche gulch route and also taking your time on this route as it can be strenuous.
