  • This is a great interactive museum. Lots for kids and adults alike to do and learn. When you are done there, walk outside and feed the fish at the hatchery, our bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the shady park adjacent.
  • Our family loves this place. The museum is one of the best indoor kid activities we have found in the area so far--there's a playroom with lots of toys, an old firetruck to climb on, a recreated ninteeth century resort cabin with dress up items, a train engineer's console, and soon a lava tube to crawl through. I love the area history and the local information, and I love keeping the kids busy. Plus, feeding the fish is a very unique experience.
  • Awesome place to bring the kids.they can have fun and learn at the same time. Also the fish hatchery is right next store and kids love to feed the fish.
  • This small museum was a pleasant surprise. The train exhibit was fun, we got to "drive" the train.
  • I am a volunteer at the museum and love the history the museum provides and the special exhibits it has ... A different one every couple of months.
