  • While this is a very popular hike, there is a reason for this. The views are stunning! It is nice gabbing with people along the way...many of them from Europe. 
  • The higher up you go the better it really gets.. Because of the views? Well, yes and no. Starting from the Paradise parking lot and as you work your way up the mountain has different layers of people....  more »

  • Skyline trail is a big circle. You can go right or left. Definitely worth finishing the trail. We were just about to turn around, and a stranger told us it was a circle. Boy were we glad we finished. The view was incredible.
  • I walked the skyline trail and in the evening I was able to see a deer resting among the flowers a short distance away. Lots of good up close views of Mount Rainier.
