  • We undertook this hike early on a Saturday morning, the clockwise hike affords the best views. We arrived early to ensure a place in the reduced main car park. Take your time and love the views.

  • While this is a very popular hike, there is a reason for this. The views are stunning! It is nice gabbing with people along the way...many of them from Europe.

  • Skyline trail is a big circle. You can go right or left. Definitely worth finishing the trail. We were just about to turn around, and a stranger told us it was a circle. Boy were we glad we finished. The view was incredible.
  • I walked the skyline trail and in the evening I was able to see a deer resting among the flowers a short distance away. Lots of good up close views of Mount Rainier.
