Crystal Mt. Ski resort on a clear day is by far the best place to ski. The views of Mt. Rainier from the top of Rainier express and the gondola, absolutely cannot be beat. By far my favorite ski resor... read more »
The resort is one of the most mature in the State of Washington and has wonderful ski runs, provided that the snow on the roads is kept clean so that you can drive to the resort.
Took the ride to the top on the gondola. And boy was it worth it. The view from the top is a great one. Almost like you can reach out and touch Mt Rainier. There is a restaurant on top call Summit Vie... read more »
Gandola superb views 360° at the top. My fave for a day trip get-a-way. Have a brewski at the summit
Gondola ride in the summer is pretty cool but a little pricey. Restaurant up top has good food but much better views. Views are unparalleled. That right there is worth the trip alone.
I love this place with all my heart. Crystal has some of the best Skiing in the state. Tons of land in bounds to work with and a great backcountry as well. You can come here for the skiing or you can also just pay to take the gondola up to the top where there's a retail shop and restaurant! You can take the gondola up in the summer as well.
Fantastic place for a fun day in the snow! A bit pricey for routine fun, but definitely worth the trip and the ski lesson was taught by a very capable and well practiced instructor! Beautiful sights too!
Memorial Day Weekend is the Perfect time of the year to go. They were open for gondola rides to the summit and there was still snow on the ground so kids had a blast playing with snow without all the snow gear that one needs during the winter months. It was worth the drive if you are in Seattle this time of the year. Be sure to check website for hours. Not much dining options at the resort this time of the year so make sure you come with snacks or a plan!
