  • Lots of slots and tables to play but I was not impressed with the smoking section. Smoke travels, a smoking section does not eliminate that.  more »

  • I went with a group to do a little gambling and have some fun. We go to casinos in Atlantic City often, so we did not know what to expect, but Mount Airy surprised us. It was very clean, modern, and had an inviting atmosphere. The casino itself is a bit smaller than one would hope, but there were enough table games to keep everyone occupied, and the central bar on the casino floor was very nice as well.
  • Stopped in on our way to Manhattan to check out the Casino. Signed up for my player's card and received $10 in free play! The Casion is much larger than I expected and very clean. They even have a non-smoking section which I appreciated. A huge selection of slots and table games! Pleasantly surprised to see they also have a Spa! Looking forward to going back for a long weekend of pampering, gambling and fun!!
  • I used a Groupon for a weeknight stay here, and there are some strong pros and a few cons to know before you go. My four star review comes from the fact that I wasn't there to gamble, as the biggest con is the condition of the casino, but we'll get to that. First off, the rooms are beautiful. They're comfortable and large--I can't think of a negative. The other area I was impressed by is the pool area. It was too cold for the outdoor portion to be open, but the indoor area is well designed and the bar staff was very friendly. The biggest con for me is that the casino is basically a giant ashtray. So much so that you can actually smell it well before you reach it. If you're hoping to come here and gamble and you don't smoke or are sensitive to smoke, you're gonna be out of luck. That's not what I was there for, so it didn't impact my visit too much.
  • We had a lot of fun at the casino. They were completely booked the weekend we came. Lots of casino games and good restaurants to eat at. The pool area is really cool that doubles as their club space, which is really cool!
  • I am torn about writing a bad review. On the one hand, every single employee I dealt with from bell staff to management provided professional and exemplary customer service. The room is top notch with great attention to detail and the building itself is very nicely done. The spa was also great - we got excellent massages. My issue is that I paid $175 for a week day getaway and spent most of my time in my room instead of enjoying myself in the casino as intended. I called ahead and specifically asked if there were non-smoking gaming tables in an area that was physically away from smoking areas. They said, yes. The description I got implied that yes they do have non-smoking areas, and that smoking and non-smoking areas are on opposite ends. The reality was that NO non-smoking tables were even open when I got here and after speaking to a manager they graciously offered to open up a non-smoking table. The problem is that there is no separation. The "non-smoking" section is 18 inches away from the smoking section so I was surrounded 180 degrees by chain-smokers. I'm very sensitive to smoke and after an hour of this I couldn't breathe anymore so spent the rest of my stay killing time alone since there is nothing else to do here. Not only is there no division between the smoking and non-smoking areas but ventilation is almost non-existent. It's unbelievable that our only option is to sit choking in a pool of stagnant smoke because the property can't spend the time and money to properly ventilate and/ or separate smoking areas. This trip was a complete waste of money.
