As a veteran, my husbands qualifies for a once a month, free overnight stay in the casino hotel Sundays-Thursdays. We have eaten at the on site buffet but don't really care for the food. Seems everyth... read more »
My husband and I went on a date night to check out the casino since we are new to town. I grew up going to Las Vegas often so I have a high bar for casinos. For a stand alone place it was nice. The ma... read more »
Made my bi-monthly visit to collect my comp points. Won a couple of bucks from the comp pints, then put it all back in plus some of my stash. Had fun though.
Love this casino, I have been going for years. The food is great. Love the buffet and also the restaurants. Good size pool and outdoor spa area. I have only two complaints. First, there used to be a bar and sort of lounge area in the middle of the gaming area, had a dance floor also. They got rid of that and just put more slot machines. This makes the bars on the side fill up quicker, so if your not gambling, there is really no where to just kick back and have a drink. Second, the rooms need updating. Period.
Saw Shinedown, Buckcherry, Pop Evil, Red Sun Rising and Like a Storm in their outdoor venue. Pros: Staff were friendly and responsive. Great views from the reserved seating area. Casino in general is beautiful. Cons: Reserved seating was very cramped. I have broad shoulders so it was rather uncomfortable. The sound system lackluster. I have heard all of the bands at various venues and the sound system was an issue. The snake(s) running to front of house made a trip hazard in the reserved seating area. After the show funneling 10,000 people through a casino is absolutely ridiculous. I understand the desire to promote the casino but really?
Very nice casino for not being in Vegas. They have a couple upscale restaurants all the way to a deli and a coffee shop. The staff is very friendly. The only thing i didnt like is their snacks in the deli are overly expensive because that's a good place where people can spend their comps. Nice rooms.
We went to an outdoor concert event, reserve seating was good (a bit noisy due to being metal & spring up seats), we have also did the lawn (there you need to be a bit higher on the hill because people stand at the fence line where the reserve section starts to see over them), drinks are limited and have the standard concert prices, bathrooms are portables and way too few (plan on waiting in line a while), but over all it was nice .

Hotel is awful rooms are over priced and small dirty. This place needs an upgrade Casino and Hotel look 50 years old inside. Pool is freezing in the winter staff is terrible. ATM'S are awful ticket cashers/bill breakers can't read tickets. Machines are tight don't even bother going here to gamble. Take a trip to Detroit or up north. Premium play is triple in Detroit and up north with only one visit makes it hard to understand what this place is doing. Only been in one Casino worse and thats Standish one both poorly run. They treat people like dirt.
