  • My husband and I had a 9am tee time and we're excited about playing this course. It's one of the few that are right next to the ocean and has views of the Cooper River Bridge. The course was currently...  read more »
  • Quite a nice golf course in a beautiful setting but the track is unplayable . Greens have had a disease and are in terrible state. You can't putt on these things. Not worth playing. Should be closed t...  read more »
  • Patriot's Point offers a free round on your birthday. I don't really WANT to complain because it was free, but I feel compelled to share my experience devoid of emotion. 1. Booking my tee time was goo...  read more »
  • Beautiful course. Excellent fairways and most greens were in good shape. They were replacing 3-4 greens at the time, so they have temp greens in place.. Which if you aren't careful and aren't paying attention will allow you to miscalculate the yardage on your approach shot. Very scenic and windy. 17th green is definitely the highlight of the course. Hit the green or else..
  • Had the weekend off and went over to Mount Pleasant to play golf with some friends. I had a blast! The staff was friendly and receptive and for my first time there. The golf course was in good shape and had many holes that were favorable from the ladies tees. The views of Charleston are amazing and the last three holes were really challenging which ate my lunch but overall a great experience and value.
  • Ladies, you need to boycott this course. The groundskeeper called a female golfer a "real c#nt" when she made a honest mistake. He continued to yell and cuss at her in a drunk manner. Management was told about the situation and did nothing - that groundskeeper is still there and still drinking while on the job. Reading previous reviews shows that this employee has had many complaints. It is apperent that the management or ownership does not care. LADIES AND MEN WHO RESPECT LADIES NEED TO STOP SPENDING MONEY HERE!
  • We picked a week day to play and I have to say that the views on the course are lovely. The staff leaves a little bit to be desired - the guy who checked us in was rude and loud. When we were teeing off on number 2, the greens keeper yelled something we couldn't understand and flew past us drinking a beer. It was totally caddyshack! We had to laugh but it was a little offsetting. The young lady driving the beverage cart was very pleasant and when we made the turn and stopped into the cafĂ©, we had a nice chat with the lady behind the bar. I wish I had gotten their names, but they were great. The back 9 was fun but we were really surprised at how bad the cart path is in some spots. The 17th and 18th greens have such great views and are really fun. All in all, it was a good day but I hope that they take reviews like this into account and will fix or get rid of some of the rude staff and fix the cart path. In a spot like this, they could easily get 4 or 5 stars on every review with just a couple of improvements. We will definitely be back!
  • Good tourist course. Greens had just been plugged, so not sure of quality. Course is fairly open. Great scenery right along the bay area.
