I can't imagine a more entertaining rehearsal dinner than the one we had at Bube's! We opted for the Medieval feast in the catacombs, complete with actors and musicians who helped make our last dinner... more »
This is a very laid back dining experience. The dining area is very casual and the sandwiches are yummy. You can actually go underground to tour in the catacombs or to experience a more detailed menu.... more »

Myself, my wife, and my parents went on 5/13/17 for what was supposed to be a nice evening out. We were seated in the Catacombs, which is a really interesting place to eat (seriously, dinner in an old speakeasy? Awesome). The dinner rolls were also quite delicious, as freshly-baked rolls tend to be. Also, the first of our four waitresses was quite helpful However, that was the end of the nice evening out. Two of us ordered steaks ($31 apiece) and requested they be cooked to medium. However, both were charcoal bricks, blackened out the outside and cooked completely dry. All the meals came with fresh green beans, which were completely unseasoned and seemingly uncooked. We decided we would give dessert a go, so when the fourth waiter came to give the dessert list, my mom had a couple questions. He interrupted her (simply asking for him to repeat the list, since there is no menu), saying he'd be right back. 10 minutes later, we decided we just wanted to skip dessert and get out. This is the type of service and food I expect from a $7/plate diner, not a $30/plate restaurant - we will not be back.
My husband and I ate here on Monday June 5 2017 for our 5th wedding anniversary. We live in Adams county pa an have wanted to try this place for a while because of how interesting it would be to eat in the Catacombs, so we planned an overnight trip to Lancaster and decided to try this place out. To be honest I was a little worried about how dinner would be because of all the bad reviews but tried to keep and open mind and I'm glad I did! This place was awesome! Our waitress Anne was amazing, she was right on top of things. Our drink glasses were never empty, food arrived quickly and she was so pleasant to talk to. There were 5 other tables in the Catacombs besides us and she was the only waitress and she had to run up and down the steps to get the food and alcoholic beverages for all the tables but always had a smile on her face. The food was delicious as well. We ordered the crab dip for an appetizer, I ordered the ribs and mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the steak with blue cheese and mushrooms melted over top with mashed potatoes and we would highly recommend both! All food was hot and seasoned perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
This was a neat place to see. The interior and exterior was original to the 1800's. We had a great waitress who we had a good conversation about how Bube's has been featured on Ghost Hunter's and will also be on Travel Channel. A tour of the Catacomb's is available. I had the Tuscan Chicken off the Casual Dining menu, and was happy with it, and the price. Would like to come back for a murder mystery show.
Me and my husband attended Murder at Bazancourt for the Murder Mystery. We LOVED the experience of the murder mystery and was constantly on the go trying to solve this murder. I loved the prices at the bar, I thought they were incredibly reasonable and affordable. We were although not impressed with the food. It seemed for family style there wasn't enough to go around. The chicken looked like frozen chicken nuggets put into the oven. The salad was good, I enjoyed the soup, my husband did not. The dessert was good but for $50 each we thought the food could've been a better quality. We will be back to participate in other mysteries and also to dine in the catacombs. Again great show, great atmosphere, great great great!! The food was our least favorite part
Last night (Monday) my wife and I went to Bube's to celebrate our one year anniversary and we relived our wedding! The food and service were amazing (Thanks, Anne) and the portions were of adequate size. The unique flavors of beer are worth the visit alone! I personally love the sour beers. The unique atmosphere of this place can be magical! We held our reception at Bube's one year earlier. Shawn was very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating to our requests! Thanks again Shawn! We could not have chosen a better place to hold our reception. All of our guests are still talking about our reception. The wonderful location, the quality of the food, how great the service was and how much fun they had! And the guests that could not make it are raving on social media on how their 1st stop in PA will be Bube's Brewery!
