  • We visited Mount Dora, Florida last year for their Seafood Festival. While the festival was a disappointment for our family for the distance we drove and the money spent... but we enjoyed visiting the shops in this charming little town. Most especially, we really loved this tiny little museum tucked away off of the main road that most of the shops are on. I really appreciate history (especially Florida history, as I'm a Native Floridian) and this museum, albeit small, packed SO much history and info into a small little building. But I appreciated how all of the artifacts were displayed and the friendly staff. I'd highly recommend checking this place out!
