  • One of my favorite local businesses!!! It is a destination trip for sure. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of books in EVERY genre at incredible discounts, think current hardbacks for $5 or less & paperbacks for even less! They also have audiobooks, coloring books, decor, book related paraphernalia, etc. all at extreme discounts. Staff is always friendly & knowledgeable. We have to go for each new session just to see what's been added or we missed last visit. MUST visit for all books lovers.
  • Love taking kids here. Very helpful and sweet employees
  • Limited selection of books, but great prices on the ones they have. Selection tends to be very good on children's books and toys, a little less so on niche adult books and reference books, though there's something there for almost any interest. They did have great prices on popular series like Game of Thrones and Outlander, but you can't pick up a full series (or earlier books in a series) due to limited selection. Easy to lose at least an hour browsing and finding books that you might be interested in, and hard to walk out without buying at least a few relevant books.
  • We like going now and again, wish they turned over inventory more. Can be hit or miss for the kids. Always a good selection of cooking books.
  • The Green Valley is a hidden treasure of the Shenandoah Valley. It's wealth of books, in a variety of themes and genres, is always a pleasure to browse through. I have never walked out of its doors without a few tomes newly under my care. I highly recommend you visit and return OFTEN.
