  • This farm has a large barn, tricycles, goats, and a small corn maze. What it does not have is friendly and welcoming management. We visited here for the first time because of the Trip Advisor reviews ...  read more »
  • Went with our preschool class-4&5 Yr olds--in October. So much to do--from the ride out to the pumpkin patch, to the castle slide, to the corn maze, to petting the farm animals, to the corn "bin", to ...  read more »
  • Found this place a couple of years ago. Every year, my wife and I along with our now 4 year old go here. They have wonderful farm typish simple amusements for the kids. Highly recommend
  • You can come here if you want to be but be forewarned that the management is rude and unfriendly. There are other farms in the area that you can visit. Unless you really need a pumpkin or want to feed goats, you may wish to consider one of the others.
  • It's the ultimate place to play hide-and-go-seek. It was great fun for our entire family. We found the perfect Douglas fur. Right after the Billy goat showed us he could scratch his back with one of his horns. Very clever.
  • Coneveniently located right off 70, get your Christmas tree from a real tree farm. Super fresh - cut yr own or grab one they just cut down same day. Friendly help available, quick and professional job trimming, bailing and bagging trees. A real, local tree - cant beat that!
  • This is a really great place, especially for younger kids. Although they are in the 'tree farm' business, they include many programs for kids from young to teens. Our friend even had their wedding there, and the owners showed up to ensure that all went well. They were wonderful. Now, as for the tree-farm side, you can just drive in and purchase a pre-cut tree, or you can borrow a saw and walk into the hinterlands and find and cut your own. You can drag it back yourself, or they meander around with a tractor/trailer and you can toss your tree on. Many kinds of trees.
  • We keep coming back to this place for a long of reasons. We even choose to drive the house here vs going to much closer farms. Pros: -it's a working farm but all of the areas open to the public are clean and well maintained. -it's surrounded by absolutely beautiful scenery. Gaver is also a Christmas tree farm you can visit in the winter and that adds to scenery. - the entrance fee (more expensive on the weekends) is reasonable. Children under two are free. -while the entrance fee may be considered steep by other reviews is includes all of the activities within the farm. You have to pay for pumpkins, food, and farm-store merchandise but that is to be expected. -all of activities are well made, fun, and original with really pretty signage that's well done. -it's truly fun for the whole family. There are even a few activities that infants can enjoy. Older kids and parents can also enjoy of the ball-throwing, building, and the corn maze. -the hay ride feels secure, safe, and is fun to be on. I've been on other hayrides in my life that were white knucklers where you had a legit fear of being bucked off. -the food is very reasonably priced. -we don't feel nickel and dime-ed. SO many activities that are included? Clark's Elioak Farm in Ellicott City has an admission fee and charges for ever activity you want to do. (It's also dirty and the animal pens are nasty) -the weekend is packed but there is so much to do that you don't feel overwhelmed by the crowds -there are lots of places to sit for tired parents or grandparents Cons- -There aren't public restrooms and we didn't see any changing tables. No bathrooms mean no sinks to wash your hands. There is hand sanitizer all over the the public area for use. All and all this is a great place that we will come back to every year for the entirety of our assignment in MD. (Army)
