  • We hiked around and got within 20' of a sea otter. Lots of trails, nice scenery. We plan to go back prepared for a kayak tour. Water in Monterey Bay is chilly so we will bring our wetsuits.  more »
  • We love making a point to kayak up the slough when we visit Moss Landing. We are always greeted by gorgeous seals and their pups, even have them splash and play under our kayaks. We sit and watch the ...  more »
  • Most excellent spot to see sea otters in their natural habitat! And also you can walk right over the dunes and see the ocean and watch whales from the beach! It's free!!  more »
  • Well worth the drive over twisted back roads, and the nominal admission price. Beautifully done little nature exhibit, friendly and knowledgeable staff, modest hikes in unique and wildlife-rich scenery. Not to be missed if you're anywhere in the area.
  • Great wildlife and bird diversity. Picturesque trails. Best enjoyed through one of the rental paddleboards.
  • It was fun nice hike you know take time to explore it could be fun
  • We stopped here for a short stroll on the way back from Big Sur to SF. I was skeptical because the road leading up to it is a little sketchy, but the park is really pretty, great for a short easy hike. The restrooms are nice and the welcome center staff friendly. Only negative is the 4$ per person fee is a little high, was expecting 4/car.
  • I had the opportunity to go kayaking down the Elkhorn Slough. It was a truly amazing experience. I was able see so many pelicans and otters. If you are at all interested in Marine Biology or even just like looking at cute otters, this is a great place to go. I went with "Kayak Connection".
