  • We went there on Christmas Day 2020 and went when the tide was going out - the perfect time for collecting sand dollars - as there were thousands of them everywhere! Small (free) parking lot at the...  more »
  • I like this beach, dogs can go there, but they must be on a leash, family friendly, you can see some amazing sunsets from there.  more »
  • It was a hot October Saturday and many people were at this beach, but there's lots of parking and plenty of beach for all to stay way more than 6 feet away from others. It was interesting to see...  more »
  • A very quiet and awe inspiring beach. We camped overnight and the campground was clean and simple. Beautiful views of the waves from our campsite and you can walk right on the massive empty beach in a couple minutes from camp.
  • We come here every year for a family reunion. Right next to the beach and it has hookup sites and tent sites. Really tough to get a reservation though, you need to book as soon as sites are available!
  • I love this place. You can sit and watch the surfers and seagulls. Walk across the street and enjoy the calm waters while watching the sea otters swim and play with boats in the back ground. Take a boat ride and pay a visit to the enchanting sea lions as they sing you a song. I never tire of this place.
  • Such a beautiful beach and area to be in. It is always peaceful and tranquil, it's so easy to lose track of time when you're here.
  • NOT A CAMPGROUND REVIEW + Great view of the Rock and lots of birds + Lots of public parking available on unpaved ground + Public restrooms that have toilet paper, toilet seat covers, and hand soap + There isn't a lot of trashcans by the beach so I would practice LNT and pack in pack out. + The beach is super crowded with lots of people surfing, exploring, and picnicking + We came for a beach side bonfire at the firepits and were lucky to get a spot. There are only 3 fire pits available. We got the one smack dab in the middle with 3 benches around it. + Fire pits are large and do a good job of blocking wind. It also has a nice ledge that can act as a table. It's safe and doesn't get too hot. + Can get windy and cold so bring lots of blankets and warm clothes for the evening. + We made smores and grilled hot dogs over the firepits for dinner. + Arrive around 5pm to claim a spot.
