  • If you like small campsites and lots of noise, for way to much money for camping, then this is the place for you. Loose dogs, screaming children, generators running all hours, all in violation of camp...  more »
  • Very nice place to stop and look at nature and spend time meditating. Take time to breathe in the fresh ocean air..  more »

  • Calm and peaceful...Good weather...heavenly views... Terra-firma meets the heavens here in Morro Bay. Wonderful for stargazing, hiking, bicycling, boating, camping. We are seeing whales and sharks. Also, not far from here are Sea Lions and Monarch butterfly grove. Bring binoculars to bird watch in our protected estuaries. Within the Bay you will see sea otters, The huge volcanic Morro Rock & neighboring 8 sister volcanoes.
  • This is camping with almost an ocean view in beautiful Morro Bay! 8 hunting trail and just walking around the park is fun because there are plenty of nice people enjoying the outdoors. You are are a very short distance in a car downtown Morro Bay with lots excellent dining choices. There is an Natural History Museum in walking distance which is a really fun thing to do. There are a few RV hookups but the rest of the camp sites do not cups of electric or water. There are restrooms and there are token showers. If you get tokens on your way in it's extra simple. Fires are allowed at least when we were there and you can buy fire wood at several campsites. Seems like everybody is on a bicycle!
  • Morro Bay state park is a great place for people of all ages. Fresh air, green trees, and Ocean views to die for. What else is there to say. I love it!
  • Emploees very helpful. Great facilities. Fantastic views
