We enjoyed visiting Pennsbury Manor. It was a wonderful day full of history. The house & grounds are beautiful. I only wish that the tour guide didn't rush us through the tour so fast. We didn't have a chance to really look at all there was to see inside. What was suppose to be a 1 1/2 hour tour (according to the website) only took about 45 mins. The tour could have been longer.
Lots of period pieces, but this is not the original structure or furnishings. Tour guide was excellent!
It is a great place, a lot of fun historical sights to see. Actors are I period dress and use the methods of the day. Great for kids too.
Lovely place with the Delaware river view and serene nature scene.
Such an amazing, relaxing place. Peacocks live here also and walk around the property.
