  • Great trails for walking and biking. Nice views of the lake. Great maps so you don't get lost. Also, swimming is not allowed because of some chemicals that were dumped in the lake a while back.
  • Went here for my church's 4th of July cookout. Very nice park, with great scenery and decently priced boat rentals. I saw some renovation going on, so things can only get better for the future! Definitely wanna visit here again and I enjoyed my time moreso than Jordan Lake.
  • Our family has been here many times for group activities with the kids or just a quiet day of sun and fishing for the adults. You can bike, hike, fish, play volleyball, fly kites, or even rent a boat. Just don't eat the fish from the lake.
  • Was here for a work party at a picnic shelter. Very well maintained, hiking paths, lake piers, kayak and paddleboat rentals, nice shelters, modern facilities, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits.
  • If you are looking for a lake that you are not allowed to swim at with awful staffing, than this is the lake for you. We went to the lake and it was very sunny out and we were planning on having a great family picnic. We went to rent stand up paddle boards and the staff was extremely difficult and unorganized. When one board came in we went to go rent it and they said we needed ID. So we left to get our ID. When we got back the someone else took the board. Yes, I understand it is first come first serve but when a member of our family tried to get our money back the staff told her that we were out on the board when in fact we weren't. She spend 20 minutes arguing to get the money we gave them back. Later we found out you are not even allowed to swim in this lake. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
