  • The view of the lake is just beautiful. Great roads and shelters. On the lake with a creek running through it.  more »

  • One of the prettiest state parks in Tennessee. Lots to do. Camping, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, boating, picnicking, fishing etc. Great family park  more »

  • I highly recommend camping at Panther Creek. It is reasonably priced. The sites were very clean. The bathhouse was amazing. Always clean, private, and plenty of hot water. There is a laundry room at the bathhouse. Very reasonable charge to wash and dry your clothes. There is a playground and swimming pool at the park, expect to see deer and an occasional raccoon. I would definitely stay again.
  • Middle of the road state park that has several amenities, but none of them especially notable. Playground is fun for small kids, views are pretty, but upkeep is minimal. Good to visit once.
  • peaceful playgrounds, plenty of trails from leisurely to strenuous and plenty of places to swim (to include a pool and of course, our many lake outlets). Great place to ride your bike or set up a hammock and relax. Plenty of things to do, what are you waiting for?
  • Beautiful park with tons of hiking trails surrounding the hills of Cherokee Lake. Would not recommend the campground for tent camping though. Tent pads are tiny, only large enough to hold a picnic table. A few spots have a grassy area to pitch a larger tent but it's really designed for RV camping, which is disappointing. Other than that, I highly recommend it!
  • Great place to hike and mountain bike. There are trails for all levels.
