  • This is a lovely park for walking, biking, picnicking, and just relaxing. Can get a bit crowded on the nicest days, but not usually a problem. One tip for bikers: Beware of people walking their dogs o...  more »
  • Pleasant shaded, flat paths. A stream, a duck pond. Choose your time wisely. Favorite of lunch walkers, evening joggers, morning moms with strollers. Parking tight some evenings with softball, soccer,...  more »
  • A great area located in Morristown/Chatham that has trails and a playground at one end. Fun outing to go bike or hike and head into Morristown. Trails are paved and maintained.

  • Paved trails are excellent for the whole family. In total, this park is over 5 miles long. As it wanders along the Brook and past fields and estates, you step out of time and your whole mind and and body relax.
  • Loantaka is the perfect park for an easy bike ride, walk, run, or walk with a stroller. The trails are paved or at least well compacted gravel which work well for wheeled conveyances. The paths are nice and long too, so you can set a distance as you like. They also loop back and forth a bit. There‚Äôs also lots of parking at a few spots along the trails.
  • Good park. Obnoxious runners that take up the narrow road when they are in groups. I was biking with some friends and we would move over to the right single file, but for some reason the runners love to run 3 abreast and not move over or even try to share the road.
  • Great place for a bike ride. Great views
  • Beautiful. Flat. And always crowded which is love/hate. Parking is tight in any entrance during peak hours.
