Observe a naturally formed, open-air amphitheater used as a stage for concerts and performances at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. Enjoy the acoustics with clear and all-enveloping sound quality, the feeling enhanced by the natural red rock scenery surrounding you. Benches carved into the rocks provide seating for up to 9,500 people, with enough room between the rows to walk and dance. Entrance to the amphitheater is free, as is a visit to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame museum on the top level. You can also hike on trails through the park itself, which locals use as a workout place. I had the chance many years ago to attend a concert here while visiting Colorado, but declined. Boy do I regret that now after seeing this venue during a day tour. The weather was nice, and there were... more »

What can I say. One of the most beautiful music venues I’ve seen in my life. The rocks and colors around the areas trails are out of this world gorgeous. The concerts are fun! The hikes around the area are excellent and the fact you can go workout there during the mornings is truly amazing. I love the red rocks park and amphitheater!

Beautiful venue to see Vampire Weekend at. There is reserved seating for the first 48 or so rows. The acoustics were awesome. The only detractor from the show were the drink vendors that would walk through the rows during the show. Other than that,it was a great experience. I would love to see another show here, definitely would recommend that if you have the opportunity to see a show here, to just do it. You can bring in small bags and blankets for added comfort.

Great place for live music. Decent choice of food and beverages during the show. Get there early to get a decent parking spot or else you'll be parking on the road further way and will have to walk a little to get to the seats. Music sounds great from any seat. Trading Post/music museum is also an interesting place. You can also make a reservation at the restaurant before the show.

Simply amazing! There is something magical about seeing a show here. I have seen 3 shows here, 2 of them have been recorded for DVD releases. I recommend coming here to see someone who you really like! It's also a great place to hang out during the day. You can walk various trails around the park, climb stairs, walk the stage or visit the museum up top! I can't wait until I visit again.

Beautiful venue set in between two large boulders and had a great sound system. We saw AJR perform and it was awesome! I never heard of them before the concert but would definitely go again. They had a great blend of different types of sounds and good lyrics. They also did a wonderful job blending music, art, and technology. Very impressive!
