  • You can do as little or as much as your physical fitness allows. We went on a short 3 mile hike and the scenes were beautiful and included wooded paths, moderate inclines and babbling brooks. There ar...  read more »
  • We hiked to the top on a weekday around 10 am. It wasn't very busy, but there are a lot of people biking. Everybody is very considerate and friendly while on the trail. It is quite steep at times so b...  read more »
  • We went on a Wednesday morning, got there at 10 am and we got the last parking spot. Probably want to get there early during the summer, it seems to fill up fast.
  • Went for biking. Liked it. The way up is a lung burner but the way down is very fun. The end along the creek is a great cool down. The downhill section was a little congested. Lots of hikers. The flow was good, there's a few jumps and cool rock sections. The turns are pretty sweet, except when it's really dry. Overall a pretty sweet spot.
  • Great place to spend time hiking with family and friends, or even by yourself. Parts of the river are very shallow and perfect for a nice dip in the summer heat. They have ample bench tables for picnics. Also, very well kept bathroom facilities near the parking lot to the east of the park. All kinds of wild life (Which should be expected in the mountains), but my favorite are the hummingbirds! There are tons of them around and you can hear them flying around as you walk as well.
  • Nice park with picnic areas, adequate parking and a nice trail for hiking or mountain biking. It can get pretty crowded with mountain bikers on weekend mornings, so if you're hiking (especially with kids) that might not be the very best time to go. However, it is a good place to hike with kids because it's fun to cross some of the small streams along the trail and you only have to make it a couple of miles to see the castle!
  • Clean nice walk along bear creek. Theres two loops but if you can find the abandoned trail leading up its a nice hike to the top .
  • Soooo pretty!!! Good flow and some good lung burning climbs
