  • we went to a girls volleyball game and really enjoyed it the facility was very nice and the price was right! FREE!
  • Ride the PRT from Downtown to Evansdale campus to get the whole experience. The campus is set above the north flowing Monongahela River.
  • Came up to donate some old books, dating to 1803, to the WVU library. To learn more about the University, we took the official WVU tour. Meet at WVU Visitor center near Waterfront Plaza. Given present...  more »

  • Kevin white kyzir white karaun white my cuzns so this school made our family thankful....love it and the foundation blesings
  • The campus is nice, most of the historic buildings are right near the Mountainlair, the only problem is that this is an extremely hilly campus, so be prepared for a bit of a hike unless you dip into much of the college buildings and take the various elevators.
  • It's a good school in a lovely location. There are great teachers in the biology department. The PRT is a fun way to get around on campus. There are lots of things within walking distance from the main campus. The Creative Art Center has wonderful shows. If you need bigger Pittsburgh isn't that far away for a day trip on the weekend.
  • Most Professors here are very reasonable and friendly and foster a learning environment. The in-state tuition isn't too bad, and I have heard it is cheaper for some people to come here out of state than to attend their in-state schools. They have a phenomenal Engineering Program that rivals other big schools. They keep updating all of their tech equipment for the various engineering majors and it has made my work with Computer Science much easier. My only complaint is like most other public universities, they follow a business model and cut corners and like to raise tuition just above what scholarships give. To be fair, most universities do this now, and is something you can't really compare schools on.
  • i really love it here the only down side is if you live on a hill (like i do) its like climbing mount everest in the desert, very hot, long struggle up the hill. also not a lot to do on the weekends if your not into the partying scene
