  • It's currently under construction and on this Wednesday afternoon it was not open . Signs said Summer 2016 but from the looks it's going to be a bit longer I'm guessing.
  • This is one of those things I stumbled upon and really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to families, couples or to do by yourself on a rainy day.
  • We brought our grandson Blaine Williams from Watertown, SD to the Ute Musuem in Montrose CO. Blaine is a Lakota Native American, he got in free and the bonus was that---CJ Brafford, museum director and also a member of the Lakota Sioux Tribe, came out and greeted Blaine, took a picture with him and actually invited him to a pizza lunch!!! (which he had to turn down because of other plans...but if he'd had known ahead of time I bet he would've taken her up on it.) Thank you for making a 9yr old boy feel so special. With gratitude, Tom and Mary Snyder Montrose CO.
  • Very friendly staff. Excellent presentation if Native traditions carried on today as well as exquisite bead work that is very well preserved. Highly recommended for everyone.
  • Great video and amazing stories
