  • 2 hour tour well worth the $10 apiece we paid. One of the best museum's we have visited. Only a mile out of Montrose. Would return again as we know we didn't see a third of what is on display
  • We're really not usually that much into museums, but glad we made the trip up from Tellurirde for this one. Guide was super enthused about his work, and I think we still would've been there if we had ...  read more »
  • I live in Montrose and I still love going to this museum even after the many tours I have taken with family and friends over the years. It is a labor of love for Rich, the owner and has been for so ma...  read more »
  • This place is awesome! The staff is very knowledgeable, and painstaking care has been taken to set up vignettes of life with the artifacts that were found. The tour takes about 2 hrs, but is worth every minute for the j fo you learn. The entrance fee is very reasonable. The buildings are original, or replicas of originals...we really enjoyed our visit of the museum. My boys still talk about it.
  • This place is incredible! Each item has a story behind it. I visited from Mississippi about a year ago when I was staying with relatives in Montrose and told them that we had to visit this place. Can't wait to go back.
  • Absolutely an amazing collection of historical artifacts and buildings. Well worth the time. Don't do a quick visit. Do the entire guided tour.
  • This place has an astonishing collection. Definitely worth taking a tour. I'd love to go back someday.
  • This place is AWESOME! It is a "must go to", you will see things there that you won't see any place else. The owner has been collecting memorabilia/artifacts his whole life. The collection and the refurbishing he has done is amazing! Such a labor of love! Cecila was our guide and she was a lot of fun and knowledgeable. Agree with another reviewer, it is worth the stop, but give yourself plenty of time, we planned on being there an hour but were there for much longer than that.
